Use this page to generate your email signature.
The instructions below are for adding your custom signature to your Google Account through the Gmail website. For instructions on adding your signature to other email applications, see this page.
- After filling out this form and clicking the generate button, your signature will open in a new tab.
- With the signature web page open, hit
command+Ato highlight all the contents on the page and thencommand+Cto copy them. For PC users, that would be thecontrolkey instead. It’s worth noting that you do need to use the keyboard shortcuts only. Don’t just highlight the content with your mouse. The mouse method will not produce consistent results. - Navigate to your Gmail settings by clicking the gear icon at the top right of the Gmail inbox window, and then click the Settings link.
- Towards the bottom of the General tab, you’ll see a section labeled ‘Signature’ where you’ll be adding the new signature. Just delete everything that’s already in the editor and paste the content that you copied from the other webpage.
- Click the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom of the page, and you’re done.
